2004-02-29 - 1:18 p.m. I had a little scare friday night-thought that my little one was on the way. I started getting cramps around 9pm. They weren't unbearable, but they weren't a walk in the park either-whenever I walked or moved alot, it hurt. When I told my mom, she asked what the pains felt like. Then jokingly she pointed at my stomach(as if talking to my baby) and said:"Ok now, you can't come tonight or tomorrow and interfere with my mama's funeral child-you will just have to delay your arrival." Her little speech must have worked because the pains went away on their own a few hours later...hahahahahaha! It probably wasn't true labor anyways though; just the Braxton-Hicks getting more intense. I just have 18 days to go. I am so ready to have my baby.I know I keep saying that, but really I am. I just have to wait though. As of today my baby STILL hasn't "dropped" & settled into my pelvis yet. This stubborn little child is trying to stay in as long as he or she possibly can.
