2007-04-29 - 9:49 a.m. it has been nearly fifteen months since I have posted in this blog. Much has happened in that time though so I need to get caught up. Here is a short rundown, which I will go into detail in later entries: *April/May 2006: More arguments with the husband, decide to separate from him. He decides to put me and our child out of the house since he can't live with me if I am not his wife(never mind the fact that I was a stay at home Mom with no money or resources of my own at the time). *May/June 2006: my In-Laws learn of what is going on and intervene. They invite me and Zora to Tanzania and suggest I talk to them, seeing if they can help at all before their son and I make the final step of divorce. They would also like to see their only grandchild, whom they have never met. June-September 2006-Zora and I travel to Tanzania. We had a great time. My parents in law, especially my Mom in law, are wonderful, loving people. They accepted me as family. I had many long talks with my MIL in particular about my marriage, past relationship issues and how to move forward. I leave Tanzania thinking that I can push and make this marriage work somehow. September 2006-Return from Tanzania determined to be the best wife possible. Things go okay. October 2006-Problems begin to surface again. Arguments start (for no reason), and the online snooping and tracking resumes(though I did not know it). November 2006-Arguments continue and get worse. I am accused of things I am not guilty of and my commitment is questioned. My husband says that he wants a divorce. For the first time, I don't argue with him and say fine. December 2006-He says that he was just mad and didn't mean it. At this point I don't want to hear it. There is no going back and I refuse to reconcile. Which brings us to...... April 2007-We have been separated since November 2006.
