Well this year has been interesting thus far. Poor little Zora caught Pneumonia in early January. She had to have surgery to drain fluid from her left lung. She was hospitalized for two weeks. Luckily she was at one of the best Children's hospitals in the nation. Her medical team was excellent and made the experience less nerve-wracking for us. She has recovered fully now and is doing much better. I can't believe that she will be two years in one week. Sometimes I wonder where the time went. I am going to be twenty six in July. I've accomplished some of my goals but getting my Bachelors still eludes me. It is frustrating because I have suffered some setbacks since I started school in Fall 2004. I had to drop my classes in Summer 2005 because of my Mom's death. I had to drop 3 of 4 classes in this current quarter because of Zora's illness. I'm not mad with my Mom or Zora; its not like death or illness is really in our control. It just seems that now that I have been so serious about my education obstacles keep coming up. However I shall not be moved. I will go spring and summer to complete the A.A. I will start my junior year in the fall at four year. I refuse to become discouraged.
