Well the holidays have come and gone. They weren't nearly as bad as I was expecting them to be. The past week has actually been very cool. Lots of celebrating with friends. The language barriers are slightly annoying though. Now I know how non English speaking people feel when they come to the US. And I feel bad because I don't want people to think I'm being antisocial....but when all conversation is being conducted in Swahili I feel like an idiot just sitting there. I mean yeah I know a LITTLE bit but not enough to fluent at all. So its either isolate myself or hope that another english only person is around that I can conversate with and relate to. I'm really going to have to become fluent soon though because I don't like feeling left out.
