I did quite well in school fall quarter. I received a 3.8 in geography and a 3.5 in ENG 102. I feel my english teacher should've given me a better grade considering the fact that I received an A- on my term paper. I am very excited about winter quarter. Unfortunately my application for tuition through the department of veterans affairs was denied. Since my Dad's disability isn't complete I can't get the aid. The financial aid department on campus is reviewing my documents. Hopefully they will pay the full tuition. If not I will not be in school winter quarter and my timeline for completing my AA will be screwed up.
On a brighter note, we are planning on going to Tanzania in the spring. Of course I don't know exactly how that will work seeing as we currently don't have the $$ to pay for our passports,visas and immunizations. Yep, being broke sucks. At least tax time is around the corner.
