Its funny how your life changes when you become a parent. I get excited about the silliest things. Earlier this week, I received a catalog in the mail from Toys R Us. It was full of coupons and great deals, so we went this evening to shop for Zora. I think I was more excited about it than she was...hahaha! We bought Zora her first toothbrush today. Yes, she is cutting her first tooth, or teeth I should say. She has two bottom ones coming in. They haven't fully emerged, but you can feel the edges. I'm so excited. I'm not looking forward to her biting me(she is still breastfed), but at least now she will be able to eat more foods. She is such an energetic social baby. Such a joy and so loved! When I look at the daily headlines, all the wars, bombings & disasters I get so worried about her. We are truly living in perilous, scary times. The thought of any harm coming to my baby terrifies me. But I know that its not in my hands and that the Lord is ultimately in control of all. Zora will be blessed and dedicated to the Lord soon; probably on the last sunday of this month. I will be more at ease then. From that poing on I must make sure to raise her up in the faith and teach her to love and obey the Lord, just as my Grandma taught me.
