Time to vent(yeah I know I do that alot but its really necessary this time):
WHY, oh WHY, do people around me act like marriage would be the magic solution to all my problems? Earlier this week my Aunt D flipped out about Zora's dad being over here & asked "where's the ring". Her insinuation was that he should propose. Then people on his side are telling him "well don't marry her out of duty just to end up getting a divorce 12 years later". I really want to ask these people: who asked for your advice? If your opinion was not solicited, then most likely it was not desired,so keep it to yourself!! Who says either one of us even wants that? I certainly don't(right now at least). No one is my family is going to be able to pressure me into something I don't want to do. I don't believe in shotgun weddings. Yes, I have a child, but that doesn't mean that my standards and requirements for matrimony will change. Sometimes I just want to tell people to mind their own damn business!
