I swear, the government will squeeze money from you any way they can! I need to get a copy of Zora's birth certificate and make a change to it, and that is going to cost $32. I'm not pinching pennies, but its the principle of it that annoys me. I don't feel I should have to pay for a copy of her birth certificate considering the fact that the state still hasn't sent me the original one. But rules are rules I suppose. Then her surname has to be changed, which means I've got to order another SS card, another insurance card, etc. There is so much paperwork involved when you have a child.
