Ms Zora is growing so much! Pretty soon she will be out of her newborn stage. I wonder how much she weighs now; my guess is somewhere between nine and ten lbs. She has her next check-up in the first week of May, so I will know soon. I feel bad for her though-she has to get five or six shots at this checkup, so I know she will be very cranky afterwards.
Speaking of doctor's visits, I have another one myself next week. Thankfully this will be my last one for a long time! I probably went to the doctor more in my nine months of pregnancy than I have in the past thirteen years. And I am not one of those people who avoid going to the doctor; I go at least once a year usually. I will be very happy after this one. I'm getting an IUD, which means I don't have to worry about birth control for FIVE years(pathetic what passes for excitement in my life, isn't it?hahahaha). Of course my "moratorium" on dating is still in place-probably will be for another year or so-and celibacy is a part of my religious beliefs. BUT just in case I slip up(and in case a condom breaks-there is no way I will risk my life again by barebacking), I am going to be prepared. I want Ms Zora to have a brother or sister, but not until I am married and about 27 years old.
