My beloved Grandma continues to be there for me, even in death. When I'm tempted to have a "pity party" for myself(as I was this morning), I think of her. I think of her life. Nothing that I have encountered yet can truly compare to what she went through, and she did it WITHOUT COMPLAINING. Considering that she died at 79, I think that is pretty commendable. I remember her voice & her phrases. When she saw me upset about something, she'd smile, hug me and say,"Baby, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger". She was right. There are three things that will sustain me:1) my faith in the Lord, 2) my love for precious Zora and 3)my Grandma's legacy.
