I am in such a good mood!Zora's two week check-up went great! It turns out she does not have thrush; the patch in her mouth is just a typical newborn ailment that will go away on its own. She is gaining weight very well. At her two day check up she weighed 6 lbs, 9 oz. Today she weighed eight lbs, 11 oz.They had to draw blood from her heel to run tests for certain disorders. I felt so bad for her. I mean I'm grown and I hate having blood drawn, so I can imagine how she felt. It was so hard hearing Zora cry so much. She was very upset, but it was over quickly.And everyone that saw her at the clinic had to stop to comment on how pretty and sweet she was. She is a beautiful child-of course I probably am a bit biased. Hopefully her hospital pictures will be here tomorrow. This photo company is so slow! I'll be sending out her birth announcements when she is nearly three weeks old! I suppose its better late than never though.
