Well as my pregnancy winds down, I find myself reflecting over it quite often. I must say that, physically speaking, I was blessed with an abnormally good pregnancy. But there are things that were very good about it, like:

Feeling my child move inside me

Hearing my child's heartbeat

Having an excuse to eat whatever I want, whenever I want,

Never having swollen feet

Never developing any stretch marks

Gaining less than 20 lbs

And lastly, what I call "pregnancy perks"-the fact that my family, friends & coworkers pretty much waited on me hand and foot the whole time. I don't think I've been this spoiled since I was a little girl!(Ok I take that back-my Grandma and my (great)Aunt Lula(RIP) never stopped spoiling me).

Now onto the things I WON'T Miss:

Morning Sickness-Oh man! That is one thing I could've gone without. It was so bad that I actually lost weight in my 1st trimester. The thought of eating made me sick. When I could bring myself to eat, it usually came right back up within a few hours.

Heartburn/Acid Reflux-I didn't get this till my 3rd trimester. It is not fun...I don't know how I'd survive without TUMS.

Leg Cramps-They seak up on me in the middle of the night & hurt like hell.

And lastly, having to use the restroom so much. At this point(with my baby's head down & sitting right above my pelvis), I have to go to the restroom once or twice an hour. It is amazing how much of a difference it makes when you have a 5-7 lb baby sitting above your bladder.
